STONY BROOK, N.Y. - The Quinnipiac men's cross country team took fourth place overall at the Stony Brook Season Opener on Saturday, Sept. 4. Senior Cam Starr led the Bobcats with a 19th place finish, recording a time of 20:02.2.

Four Bobcats made their debuts in the gold and navy: Keegan Metcalfe led the rookies with a time of 21:25.80, finishing in 35th place. Jacob Guarino, Michael Tuffey and Ohm Patel also competed for the Bobcats in their first collegiate meets.

Individual Results (Top 35)

Starr tallied a time of 20:02.20, finishing in 19th and at the top for the Bobcats.
Senior Jack Hilton recorded a 26th place finish, tallying a time of 20:25.20.
Sophomore Kevin Carballo finished in 27th place with a time of 20:35.90.
In 30th place, sophomore Andrew Woodbine finished with a time of 20:53.70.
Sophomore Jack Watson was right behind Woodbine in 32nd place (21:06.20).
Sophomore James Kiernan tallied a time of 21:13.30.
In 35th place, Metcalfe recorded a time of 21:25.80.
