VAN COURTLAND PARK, N.Y. - The Quinnipiac men's cross country team took seventh place overall at Iona on Friday, Sept. 17. Junior Matthew Rene led the team with a 47th place finish (27:29.0) in the 8k race.
Temple finished first as a team at Iona with 23 points. The Bobcats took seventh place out ten teams.

Individual Results (Eight Best Quinnipiac Times)
- Rene led the team in 47th place (27:20.0).
- In 51st place, senior Jack Hilton finished with a time of 27:35.3.
- The pack of Matthew Burke, Jack Watson and Andrew Woodbine finished in 69th, 70th and 71st place, respectively. Burke recorded a time of 28:05.1, Watson notched 28:06.4 and Woobine finished in 28:07.5.
- Senior Max Stenslie was not far behind in 74th with a time of 28:13.9.
- Sophomore Nolan Kus finished in 80th place with a time of 28:34.2.
- In 83rd place, senior Cam Starr recorded a time of 28:43.2.
- The Bobcats will have a week off before competing at Lehigh on Oct. 1.
