BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Quinnipiac men's cross country team competed at the 47th Annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh on Friday morning. Over 4,000 runners competed in the historic event with 380 in the Open 8k and 340 in the College Brown 8k. Nine Bobcats combined for a top-20 team finish while four first year runners and one sophomore competed in the Open Men's 8k at the Paul Short Run.

As a team, Quinnipiac's runners in the Men's College Brown 8k race finished 20th out of 41 teams. The Bobcats defeated MAAC opponents Fairfield and Niagara, while also finishing higher than Miami (FL), Hofstra, Colgate, and others.

Individual Results (Men's College Brown 8k) - 340 total runners

Senior Cam Starr took 25th with a time of 25:28.4, which is a new career best for the senior.
Sophomore Andrew Woodbine recorded a time of 26:25.4 in 112th place.
Senior Jack Hilton tallied a 121st place finish with a time of 26:27.6.
In 152nd place, sophomore Nolan Kus notched a time of 25:45.5.
Senior Matthew Burke took 168th place with a time of 26:55.0.
Junior Matthew Rene finished in 175th place of 340 runners. (26:59.5).
Senior Jeff Venter took 202nd place with a time of 27:18.4.
Sophomore Robert Kiernan was 222nd, finishing in 27:30.8.
Kiernan's classmate, Jack Watson ran the 8k in 28:11.9, taking 274th place.

Individual Results (Open Men's 8k) - 380 total runners

First-year Keegan Metcalfe led the Bobcats with a 250th place finish (28:01.8).
Sophomore Isaac Steele was right behind Metcalfe with a time of 28:09.2 in 257th place.
In 297th place, first-year Michael Tuffey recorded a time of 28:51.6.
First-year Ohm Patel notched a time of 28:56.4 in 301st place.
Close to Patel, first-year Jacob Guarino finished in 308th place with a time of 29:00.3.
