Quinnipiac improves to 5-0 this season, Salas, Cooke & LaBerge score for the Bobcats
BRONX, N.Y. - The Quinnipiac women's soccer team improved to 5-0 overall after a 3-2 win over the Fordham Rams on Sunday afternoon in New York City. Three penalty kick goals were recorded in this game - Quinnipiac's Selena Salas netted the first one, and the Rams scored two of their own.
The Bobcats match the program's best start since 2012 with the win today. In 2012, the team opened the season 5-0-1. Quinnipiac has recorded at least three goals in all five games this season.
Junior Paige LaBerge tallied her first goal as a Bobcat and scored the game-winning goal in today's 3-2 win. Sophomore Rebecca Cooke scored her seventh goal of the season.
