Yanosov Named MAAC Player of the Week

Bobcats Earn 4th Consecutive Weekly Honor

Edison, N.J. – Quinnipiac women's tennis senior Stephanie Yanosov has been named MAAC Player of the Week, as announced by the league on April 7, 2021.

Yanosov led the Bobcats with a pair of victories on Saturday, April 3 vs. Fordham in non-conference play. She won in No. 6 singles (6-4, 6-3) vs. Fordham's Quenville to pick up a point for the Bobcats, while also teaming up with Dominique Vasile to win at No. 3 doubles – 7-6 (2) – against Yang/Quenville.

Yanosov now has five singles wins, which ranks tied for the team lead. She also has five doubles wins with Vasile.

Quinnipiac has won each of the last four MAAC Player of the Week honors. Sophomore Claire Koscielski captured the award on Wednesday, March 24. Dominique Vasile won on both Wednesday, March 17 and Wednesday, March 31.
