HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball dropped a close MAAC game vs. Saint Peter's, 66-64, on Friday evening at the People's United Center.

First-year guard Luis Kortright led the way with 18 points, five rebounds, two assists and two blocks, shooting 8-of-9 from the free throw line. Seth Pinkney added 13 points and seven rebounds, and Brendan McGuire chipped in with 13 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Luis Kortright's 18 points came via 4-of-10 shooting. He has now recorded seven games of 10+ points this season, tallying double-digit points in five of the last six. Kortright finishes the regular season second on the team in scoring (10.5 points per game).
Seth Pinkney added 13 points, seven rebounds and four blocks. The sophomore big man had 23 points, 16 rebounds and 11 blocks over the two games against the Peacocks.
Brendan McGuire stuffed the stat sheet with 13 points, six rebounds and five helpers. McGuire has tallied six games of 10+ points.
Tyrese Williams added seven points, five assists and four rebounds. Williams finished with a +8 plus/minus rating, the highest of any Bobcats' player.
The lead changed nine times during the contest, while the game was tied seven times. Quinnipiac led for 25:20.
