ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Quinnipiac men's basketball fell vs. Iona in its opening contest of the 2021 MAAC Championships, 72-48, on Tuesday, March 9 at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall.

Luis Kortright recorded a team-high seven points, while Jacob Rigoni and Tyree Pickron each added six points.

Savion Lewis chipped in with five points, a team-high eight assists, and three rebounds.

Luis Kortright recorded seven points to lead the Bobcats. The first-year guard shot 3-of-9 while also grabbing four rebounds.
Jacob Rigoni added six points and six rebounds. He hit two three-point field goals, stretching his Quinnipiac career record to 259 made triples. The Adelaide, Australia-native finishes with 1156 career points in four years with the Bobcats.
Tyree Pickron chipped in with six points in six minutes.
Savion Lewis added five points, eight helpers and three assists. His eight assists ties a season-high mark.
The Bobcats had 11 players score.
Isaiah Ross led Iona with 15 points in 34 minutes.
