HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball earned its seventh MAAC win of the season on Thursday afternoon, edging Saint Peter's by the final score of 65-60 at the People's United Center in Hamden.

Seth Pinkney finished with 10 points, nine rebounds and a career-high seven blocks in the victory. The sophomore's seven blocks tie a Quinnipiac Division I program record.

Savion Lewis chipped in with 11 points, six rebounds and four steals.

The Bobcats used a 15-0 run over a five-minute span to take command of the game. Tymu Chenery knocked down a three-pointer as time expired at the end of the first half, then Quinnipiac scored the first 13 points of the second half to take a 41-33 lead.

Seth Pinkney had an impressive night, recording 10 points, nine rebounds and seven blocks. Pinkney's seven blocks tie a Quinnipiac Division I program record. The Bobcats' big man shot 4-of-5 from the floor.
Tymu Chenery added 10 points and six rebounds. He's scored 10+ points in 10 games for the Bobcats this year.
Brendan McGuire scored five points to go along with seven rebounds in 28 minutes.
Tyrese Williams registered nine points and four rebounds, and Luis Kortright chipped in with eight points and five boards.
JJ Riggins added six points and three rebounds off the bench, recording three field goals in 11 minutes of play.
Quinnipiac honored its senior class prior to the start of the game: student trainer Alli Adamo, student manager Chris Affuso, student manager Will Keresy, Jack Higgins and Jacob Rigoni.
