Pinkney Ties D1 Record For Blocked Shots (7) in Win
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball earned its seventh MAAC win of the season on Thursday afternoon, edging Saint Peter's by the final score of 65-60 at the People's United Center in Hamden.
Seth Pinkney finished with 10 points, nine rebounds and a career-high seven blocks in the victory. The sophomore's seven blocks tie a Quinnipiac Division I program record.
Savion Lewis chipped in with 11 points, six rebounds and four steals.
The Bobcats used a 15-0 run over a five-minute span to take command of the game. Tymu Chenery knocked down a three-pointer as time expired at the end of the first half, then Quinnipiac scored the first 13 points of the second half to take a 41-33 lead.
