Quinnipiac Improves to 3-1 With Victory
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's tennis won its second MAAC match of the year on Saturday at the Outdoor Tennis facility in Hamden, downing Rider by the final score of 7-0.
Quinnipiac won all six singles matches, and all three doubles matches in the victory. The Bobcats are 3-1 for the spring 2021 campaign.

- Alester Magalit earned a hard-fought win at No. 1 singles, battling to a 10-8 third-set victory to pick up the point. Magalit is now 4-0 in singles matches this season.
- Hielke Moore earned his third singles victory of the campaign, winning in straight sets (6-3, 6-2) at the No. 2 slot.
- Ayato Arakaki is now 4-0 this year from the No. 3 singles position, as he defeated Rider's Lenz (6-0, 6-4).
- Patrick Cachapero also has four singles victories now, as he won both the second and third set 6-3 to battle back at the No. 4 spot.
- Aleksa Martinovic won (6-0, 6-1) at No. 5, improving to 2-1 in singles action.
- Austin Yannone also picked up a 6-0, 6-1 victory, earning his win from the No. 6 position. Yannone is 4-0 in singles play this year.
- Aleksa Martinovic and Austin Yannone are now 4-0 as a tandem this season, as they won 7-6 in No. 1 doubles.
- Kemal Karagozoglu and Shaurya Sood won their second doubles matchup of spring 2021, earning a 6-3 victory.
- Alester Magalit and Bryan Schick won 6-4 at No. 3 doubles – their second win as a duo.
