COLLEGE PARK, Md – Matt Balanc recorded a career-high 25 points, as Quinnipiac men's basketball fell short at No. 21 Maryland on Tuesday night, 83-69, to open the 2021-22 season.
The Bobcats shot 51.7% (15-of-29) in the second half, outscoring Maryland 44-42.
Matt Balanc shot 9-of-12 in total, knocking down three triples. Tyrese Williams added 19 points of his own, going 5-for-9 from three-point range.
