Rigoni Reaches 1,000 Points, Bobcats Earn MAAC Win

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball earned a MAAC win on Saturday night at the People's United Center in Hamden, topping Niagara by the final score of 78-69.
Jacob Rigoni surpassed 1,000 career points for the Bobcats, scoring 11 total points on 2-of-5 shooting. The senior forward reached 1,000 points for his career on a free throw with 15:23 left in the first half.
Brendan McGuire recorded a double-double in the win, posting a career-high 19 points and 10 rebounds. Seth Pinkney added 15 points and eight rebounds on a perfect 5-of-5 shooting.

- Redshirt first-year JJ Riggins scored a career-best seven points – all in the first half. Riggins shot a perfect 3-of-3 in 5 minutes played.
- Quinnipiac heads to Buffalo, New York next weekend, visiting Canisius on Friday, Jan. 30 and Saturday, Jan. 31.
