Five Newcomers to Join Team in Fall of 2020
HAMDEN, Conn. – Head coach Dave Clark and the Quinnipiac women's soccer program is pleased to announce the incoming first-year class that will join the team in the fall for the 2020 season.
The women's soccer team welcomes five newcomers to the squad – Courtney Chochol, Rebecca Cooke, Anna Hartzheim, Olivia Kudrikow and Sofia Lospinoso. The new Bobcats hail from New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Ontario, Canada and Dublin, Ireland.

Alliston, Ontario | Banting Memorial HS | Forward
- Plays club soccer with Aurora FC
- Led team to earn league championship title in 2016 and 2017
- Favorite team: Real Madrid
- Favorite player: Robert Lewandowski
- Best soccer moment: scoring the game winning goal for my team that led us to the league championship finals and also signing to Quinnipiac.
Rebecca Cooke
Dublin, Ireland | Portmarnock Community School | Midfield
- Represented the Republic of Ireland on the U17 and U19 National Teams
- Most recently competed with the Irish's Senior National Team in a friendly against Belgium in 2019
- Plays club soccer with Shelbourne FC
- Favorite team: Liverpool FC
- Favorite player: Cristiano Ronaldo
- Best soccer moment: Scoring my first international goal vs Norway
Anna Hartzheim
Syracuse, N.Y. | Fayetteville-Manlius HS | Midfield
- Selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-East Regional Team in 2019
- Was a First-Team All-League Selection every year in 2016-2018
- Named a Section III Tournament MVP in 2018 and 2019
- Two-time nominee for Central NY Player of the Year
- Led high school team to first state ranking in program history, state final appearance in 2019
- Favorite team: Manchester United
- Favorite player: Paul Scholes
- Best soccer moment: Helping my team to my high school's first ever New York State Final appearance
Olivia Kudrikow
Plymouth, Mass. | Plymouth South HS | Forward
- Recorded 60 goals and 20 assists throughout high school career
- Named a Patriot League All-Star from 2017-2019, Patriot League MVP in 2018
- Plays club soccer with FCUSA-MA
- Favorite team: U.S. Women's National Team
- Favorite player: Julie Ertz
- Best soccer moment: Best soccer moment was playing with my club soccer team at nationals in Colorado.
Sofia Lospinoso
Kenilworth, N.J. | David Brearley HS | Goalie
- Played both in the net and on the field throughout high school career – tallied 319 saves and 14 goals
- Named to second-team all-conference in 2018 and first-year all-conference in 2019
- Led high school team to a conference championship title in 2018 and 2019
- Plays club soccer with PDA Blue Composite
- Favorite team: Chicago Red Stars
- Favorite player: Julie Ertz
- Best soccer moment: The quarterfinals of the county tournament for my high school team went to PKs. I saved the first shot, then got up as a shooter and made the last one to send my team to the Semifinals.
