Cupo, Anderson Score as Bobcats Down Gaels

New Rochelle, N.Y. – Quinnipiac remains unbeaten in conference play as they defeated the Iona Gaels, 2-0, on Saturday morning in New Rochelle.
The Bobcats earned a free kick in the 26th minute and took full advantage as Corey Anderson bounced on a loose ball and slotted it home for her third goal of the season.
Later in the first half, Quinnipiac capitalized on yet another free kick as Morgan Cupo found the back of the net. Corey Anderson was credited with an assist on the play.
Olivia Jarvis earned the win in goal for the Bobcats as she recorded three saves in 90 minutes of play.
