Curtin Named MAAC Track Performer of the Week

EDISON, N.J. - Senior Meghan Curtin was named the MAAC Track Performer of the Week after her performance at the New England Championships in Boston, Mass. After her performance at New Englands, Curtin now holds the top time in the 800m event in the MAAC.
She tallied a time of 2:13.79 in the 800m finals, which was good for fifth place overall and a personal best time. She had placed in seventh in the preliminary round of the 800m event, recording a time of 2:14.13. She then came back in the finals and beat her preliminary time.
The team finished in eighth place overall out of 24 teams at the New England Championships. Quinnipiac will have a week off before competing at the BU Valentine Invitational on Friday, Feb. 14.
