UAlbany to host Great Dane Classic in Staten Island, N.Y.
HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac women's indoor track & field team will open the New Year at the Great Dane Classic, hosted by the University of Albany. The Great Dane Classic is set to begin at 10:30 a.m., in Staten Island, N.Y.
The 60m hurdles will kickoff the track events at 10:30 a.m., along with the women's weight throw to begin the field events.

The Bobcats competed at the Yale Season Opener on Dec. 7 in New Haven, Conn. Sophomore Symone Foster and senior Ahmetra Davies took first place in the 60m hurdles (8.81) and the 500m dash (1:15.16), respectively. In the field events, senior Meaghan Scullin tied the school record in the long jump (5.60m) and place first overall. First-year Tara Zeni recorded a second place finish in the long jump with a 5.58m leap.
