Track & Field Set to Compete at Auburn, Stony Brook

HAMDEN, Conn. - The women's track & field team is set to compete at the Auburn Invitational and Stony Brook Invite on Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20. The Bobcats are coming off a solid team performance at the Rider Invitational with multiple freshmen leading the team with top-five performances.

- Sophomore Britney Del Mundo will compete in will be the triple starting at 4:00pm.
- Senior Emily Dryzgula will compete in the javelin at 4 p.m.
- In the 1500m, junior Megan Curtin will lead the Bobcats starting at 7 p.m.
- At 7:15pm, the 3000m steeplechase will begin and junior Morgan Voight and senior Maria Ricalton will compete for Quinnipiac.
- In the long jump, Del Mundo and junior Meaghan Scullin will compete for Quinnipiac at 11:30 a.m.
- Kalli'ana Botelho will lead the Bobcats at 2:30pm in the high jump event.
- In the women's 4x100m relay, Del Mundo, Curtin, freshmen Symone Foster and Aisha Gay will race starting at 12 p.m.
- Emily Young will compete in the 1500m run at 12:10 p.m.
- In 100m, Foster and Botelho will race for Quinnipiac at 12:35 p.m.
- Scullin will compete in the 400m at 1 p.m.
- At 1:55pm, the 800m race will begin and junior Ahmetra Davies, sophomore Brooke Hagen and Curtin will compete.
- In the 400m hurdles, senior Marlo Wehrer will lead the Bobcats beginning at 2:30pm.
- Del Mundo, Gay, Botelho, and junior Melissa Solomon with run in the 200m dash at 3:05 p.m.
- At 4:15 p.m., the 4x400m will begin with Wehrer, Gay, Solomon and Ahmetra running as a team.
