
Men's Cross Country Set to Compete at NCAA Regionals

Buffalo Hosts Northeast NCAA Regional
HAMDEN, Conn. - The men's cross country programs is set to compete at the 2019 NCAA Regionals on Friday, Nov. 15 in Buffalo, N.Y. Seven runners from the men's team will be competing including Michael Kiernan, Cam Starr, Dylan Manning, Matthew Rene, Max Stenslie and Jack Hilton. The University of Buffalo will host the Northeast Regional at the Audubon Golf Course.

The men's cross country team finished eighth of 11 teams at the 2019 MAAC Championships. Sophomore Cam Starr finished at the top of the Quinnipiac men in 30th place with a time of 26:45.10 in the 8k run.
NCAA Championship Qualifying Rules
The top two finishers of each regional automatically qualify for the national championships, equating to 18 immediate team qualifiers with nine regionals taking place. Four of the top individuals who do not finish on a qualifying team will also advance. The remaining 13 at-large teams and two additional individuals will be selected by the NCAA DI Cross Country Subcommittee. A total of 255 participants will be at the nationals championships.
