SCORING SUMMARY
Second Half
- (18' – Quinnipiac 1, Fairfield 0): Freshman Olivia Scott found sophomore Selena Salas about 25 yards out from the goal in the center of the field. As three Fairfield defenders closed in on Salas, she flicked a ball to sophomore Emily Loney, who was making a run into the box and finished the pass in the bottom right corner to put the Bobcats up 1-0.
- (34' – Quinnipiac 2, Fairfield 0): On the right flank, sophomore Lauren Wendland chipped a ball into freshman Markela Bejleri inside the box. Unmarked, Bejleri brought the ball down and finished in the bottom left corner to give the Bobcats a 2-0 lead.
- (60' – Quinnipiac 3, Fairfield 0): Starting from the mid-field, freshman Olivia Scott found Salas on the left flank. Salas patiently attacked the center of the field and drove a diagonal ball through Fairfield's center back and outside back to find senior Ally Grunstein. Grunstein took one touch towards the end line and drove a cross on the ground by the face of the goal; Scott was wide open on the back-post run and tapped in the third goal of the game.
