GAME NOTES
- Junior midfielder Matt Frost had three goals and three assists for a new career high with six points.
- Senior midfielder Brian Feldman had four goals for his first hat trick of the season and 18th of his career, increasing his career goal total to 106.
- Feldman's bid for a fifth goal led the game-winner as his shot was saved by Anthony Tebbano (19 saves), but Frost caught the rebound out of the air behind the goal, and backhanded a low shot under Tebbano and into the net with 4:27 left for the eventual game-winner.
- Feldman's goal 2:15 into the third quarter gave Quinnipiac a 9-4 lead, but Siena responded with six goals in a row to take a 10-9 lead after three quarters, with Chris Robertson scoring three of them.
- Feldman ended a long drought for the Bobcats with his fourth goal at the 10:37 mark of the fourth quarter to tie the score, and freshman Jake Tomsik scored an unassisted goal with 7:27 to go to give the Bobcats the lead back at 11-10.
- Siena tied the game up 11-11 on a Brian Prunty goal with 5:45 remaining, before Frost had the game-winner just over a minute later.
- Siena had one final chance after a clear, calling a timeout with 16 seconds left, but sophomore goalie Joe Zukauskas had the save and senior long-stick midfielder Adam Bellamy got to the ground ball and flung it downfield to kill off the final few seconds.
- Quinnipiac scored four times on extra-man opportunities in the first half, with Frost getting two of them and assisting on a third to Feldman. Senior midfielder Ryan Corcoran added the other.
