PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island - The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team fell to Brown University, 18-7, in a non-conference matchup at Stevenso-Pincince Field in Providence, Rhode Island. Senior Emily Byrne (Huntington, New York) led the Bobcats offensively with three goals. With the loss, Quinnipiac drops to 0-1 on the season and Brown moves to 1-0 in 2018 with the victory.

- Byrne scored as time expired in the first half to cut Brown's lead to 12-3 heading into halftime and then followed up with her second goal of the game early in the second half. She completed the hat trick with 19:58 to play.
- Byrne's three-goal game gives her her fifth multiple-point game of her career. The last one came in the MAAC Tournament where Byrne collected two assists against Marist.
- Ashley Bobinski (Kinnelon, New Jersey) picked up her first goal of the season, and also the Bobcats' first goal of 2018 with 16:21 to play in the opening frame. She added another midway through the second half. The second-year Bobcats scored 21 goals as a freshman in 2017. The sophomore had 21 goals in 2017, her first season at Quinnipiac.
- The two-goal game is Ashley Bobinski's seventh multi-goal game of her career and the 10th multiple-point game of her career.
- Loren Antonacci (Smithtown, New York) had a goal and an assist, setting up Ashley Bobinski before scoring herself later in the half.
