HAMDEN, Conn. - Junior Jen Coffey had 13 kills in 25 attempts and sophomore Maria Pansari had a season-high 37 assists to lead the Quinnipiac volleyball team to a 3-0 win over Saint Peter's in its first home match of the 2017 season on Saturday afternoon at Burt Kahn Court.

MATCH NOTES

Quinnipiac improved to 2-1 in the MAAC with both wins 3-0 sweeps. It's one loss was 3-2 at Iona on Sunday.
Junior Jen Coffey (Merrimack, N.H.) has 43 kills in 83 attempts in three MAAC matches this season after recording 13 in 25 attempts today
Coffey moved into fourth place on Quinnipiac's all-time kill list at the Division I level with 747
Senior Elizabeth Kloos (Munster, Ind.) had seven kills in 11 attempts with no errors for a .636 hitting percentage. Kloos came into the match tied with Coffey in career kills and now has 741, good for fifth place.
Sophomore setter Maria Pansari (Whitehouse Station, N.J.) had her second straight double-double in assists and digs, tallying a season-high 37 assists to go along with 10 digs. She had 30 assists and a career-high 17 digs at Iona on Sunday.
The Bobcats closed out the first set on a 10-0 run after the score was tied 15-15. Coffey had two kills and a block during the run.
