Bobcats Remain Unbeaten (2-0-1) Through Three MAAC Games
POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – In a game filled with twists and turns, Olivia Myszewski (Elm Grove, Wisconsin) came up with one of the biggest saves of her career, stonewalling a Marist penalty kick in overtime to preserve a 1-1 draw for the Quinnipiac women's soccer team at Tenney Stadium. The Red Foxes equalized with just 1:12 minutes remaining but the Bobcat defense held off a hard-charging Marist to remain undefeated in MAAC play at 2-0-1.

SCORING SUMMARY
- 60:31 (QU 1, MAR 0): After a Bobcat corner kick was knocked out of the box, Jess Gargan (Dublin, Ireland) fired the ball back in to the far post where Hannah Reiter (Mansfield, Massachusetts) was waiting with the header. Rather than going for a shot, Reiter centered the ball where Madison Borowiec (Windsor, Connecticut) was waiting to punch in her fourth goal of the season
- 88:48 (QU 1, MAR 1): With Marist dominating possession all throughout the second half, the sixth corner kick of the stanza led to the equalizer. Tori Flaherty wiped in a ball to the far post where Nicole Sasso was waiting for the uncontested header to the opposite post
NOTES
- Borowiec continues her career-season, notching her fourth goal of 2017 while Reiter dished out her third assist (all of which have come in the last three games)
- Borowiec now has 12 points (four goals, four assists) through nine games, easily eclipsing her previous single-season career-high of six (sophomore year – 2016)
- This result marks the first time Quinnipiac hasn't lost in a MAAC regular season game at Marist (previously 0-1-1)
- Quinnipiac was outshot 27-12 for the game and by a considerable 20-4 margin from the start of the second half
- Facing a penalty kick for the second time in her career, Myszewski came up with her first career save to stonewall the would-be game-winner for Marist in overtime
- The save off the free kick was one of Myszewski's nine on the afternoon which stands as the second-most for the sophomore keeper in a single-game in her career (two off her career-high 11 from earlier this season against Miami (FL))
- In her last three games, Myszewski has conceded just two goals over 296:44 (two overtime games) as she has posted 15 saves on 17 shots on-target (.882 save percentage)
- Nadya Gill (Toronto, Ontario) was held off the scoresheet for the first time since the Bobcats' 2-1 overtime home win over Bryant (six games ago), breaking up her five-game point streak
