QU Drops Non-Conference Finale to LIU

BROOKVILLE, New York – The Quinnipiac women's soccer team fell to 0-3-1 with a 2-0 loss to the LIU Sharks on Monday, September 1st.
LIU opened the scoring in the 19th minute as Izzy Stein found the back of the net. Betty Hall doubled the Sharks' lead in the 48th minute as they held on for their first win of the year.
Morgan Cupo led the Bobcats with seven shots, with one of those on goal. Gwen Hoyt played the full 90 minutes in the cage and recorded three saves.
