"It was our first opportunity to actually assess where the status of the team. Ryan Ansel has been performing exceptionally well in workouts, but his race today even outperformed our expectations. His confidence has made a huge jump since last year. For the rest of the team, today gave us an honest picture of where we are at and the work that is necessary for us to compete well at the MAAC Championships. I believe the training we have planned over the next six weeks will allow the type of confidence we see in Ryan to permeate through the rest of team, and allow us to compete significantly better against the teams that beat us today."
UPCOMING MEET
Quinnipiac will use another off week hoping to improve in the lead-up for the Paul Short Run on Friday, September 29 on the campus of Lehigh University.
