HAMDEN, Connecticut – The Quinnipiac University field hockey team lost to Northeastern, 2-1, in the first game played at the Quinnipiac Field Hockey Turf Complex. Quinnipiac drops to 0-3 on the season while Northeastern improves to 2-1.

Northeastern's Jamie Bartucca accounted for both of the Huskies' goals, including the game-winner with :57 seconds remaining in the game.
Bobcats sophomore Elisa Ruiz Martinez's (Madrid, Spain) first career goal also stood as the first goal scored at the Quinnipiac Field Hockey Turf Complex.
Michelle Federico (Cheshire, Connecticut) set-up Ruiz Martinez off the penalty corner for her first point of the season and ninth assist of her career.
