- Bobcats sophomore Elisa Ruiz Martinez's (Madrid, Spain) first career goal also stood as the first goal scored at the Quinnipiac Field Hockey Turf Complex.
- Michelle Federico (Cheshire, Connecticut) set-up Ruiz Martinez off the penalty corner for her first point of the season and ninth assist of her career.
- Quinnipiac sophomore goalkeeper Livy Golini (York, Maine) stopped five of Northeastern's seven shots-on-goal.
- Holy Cross enters Sunday's game with a record of 0-2 following losses to No. 22 UMass (8-3, 8/25/17) and No. 18 Albany (5-3, 9/1/17).

- In 2010, Yeardley Love, a women's lacrosse player at University of Virginia and a Bethesda, Md.-area native was beaten to death by her ex-boyfriend. Her story touched thousands, bringing light to the increasingly serious issue of relationship abuse.
- The Yards for Yeardley project works to empower communities, especially young female athletes, to speak up and speak out against relationship abuse. The One Love Foundation encourages teams to walk, run, or sprint yards to raise awareness for relationship abuse.
