
Quinnipiac University Announces Partnership With adidas

HAMDEN, CT– Quinnipiac University and adidas have entered into a seven-year partnership in which the Portland, OR., based company will be the official athletic footwear, uniform, apparel and accessory brand of the Bobcats through the 2023-2024 season.
adidas will supply the Bobcats with footwear, uniforms, apparel and accessories for all 21 varsity athletic teams. In addition, adidas will become the official equipment provider for Quinnipiac's baseball, men's lacrosse and women's lacrosse teams.

"adidas has a phenomenal reputation and a long history of providing an excellent product to college and professional teams. Our goal is to place our brand with the best in NCAA athletics and this is a step in that direction. Additionally, it provides an opportunity to develop the Quinnipiac brand with uniform standards for all of our 21 varsity athletic teams."

Quinnipiac's Department of Athletics & Recreation is composed of 21 varsity sports teams including seven men's teams (baseball, basketball, cross country, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer and tennis) and 14 women's teams (acrobatics & tumbling, basketball, cross country, field hockey, golf, ice hockey, lacrosse, rugby, soccer, softball, tennis, indoor track & field, outdoor track & field and volleyball). Quinnipiac joined the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in 2012-13 for all sports except field hockey, acrobatics & tumbling, women's rugby and men's and women's ice hockey. Field hockey completed its first season as members of the BIG EAST Conference in 2016. Acrobatics & Tumbling is a member of the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NACTA) while women's rugby is a member of the newly-formed National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA). Men's and women's ice hockey compete as members of ECAC Hockey. In addition, Quinnipiac also offers multiple intramural opportunities for Quinnipiac's 10,000 students.
