- A lay-up from senior forward Chaise Daniels (Meriden, Conn.) with 6:13 left in the first half had the Bobcats within 25-18, but Wake Forest closed out the half on a 17-4 run to take its largest lead of the half on a put-back from sophomore forward Donovan Mitchell.
- After holding Colorado to just 4-20 shooting from three-point territory yesterday (with three of the makes coming in the final two minutes), Wake Forest shot 8-14 from three in the first half. The Demon Deacons finished the game 10-24 from beyond the arc.
- Wake Forest led by as many as 26 early in the second half. The Bobcats were able to get as close as 13 points (63-50) with 6:50 left on a jumper from junior forward Abdulai Bundu (Upper Marlboro, Md.), but could come no closer.
- Bundu was 7-8 from the foul line, missing his last one after starting the year a perfect 11-11. Daniels, who had a team-high 12 points, was 6-6 at the line, while senior guard Cameron Young (Los Angeles, Calif.) was 4-4.
- Junior Andrew Robinson (Takoma Park, Md.) had three three-pointers and a two-pointer at the buzzer to reach double figures for the first time this season with 11 points. One of his threes came in the second half on a pass from his twin brother Aaron, who made his first appearance of the season after redshirting last year.
