SCORING SUMMARY
- (16:46, 1st: Northeastern 1, Quinnipiac 0): Northeastern scored its third power-play goal in two nights when Grant Cockerill fired shot on net that sailed wide and bounced off the bounces behind the Quinnipiac goal. The puck bounced out to Dylan Sikura who one-timed the shot on-goal and gave the Huskies a 1-0 lead.
- (13:30, 2nd: Quinnipaic 1, Northeastern 1): Chase Priskie (Pembroke Pines, Florida) scored his first goal of the season, on the power play, to tie the game at 1-1. Landon Smith (Greenwood Village, Colorado) fired a shot on goal from the right face-off dot that was stopped by Huskies' goalie Ryan Ruck. Odeen Tufto (Chaska, Minnesota) spied the loose puck at the feet of a defender and pushed it out to Priskie on the wing for the one-timer.
- (15:34, 2nd: Northeastern 2, Quinnipiac 1): Grant Jozefek gave the Huskies lead with his fourth of the season after a pass from Dylan Sikura. Ryan Shea was also credited with an assist.
- (1:33, 3rd: Quinnipiac 2, Northeastern 2): Priskie picked up his second goal of the game off a pass from Tanner MacMaster, who picked up his third point of the weekend. Landon Smith also picked up an assist after tipped the puck off the boards in the Bobcats' defensive zone to MacMaster in the neutral zone.
- (4:22, OT: Quinnipiac 3, Northeastern, 2): Alex Whelan picked up a loose puck in the slot and one-timed the puck home to give Quinnipiac's its second overtime win in its last three games.
NOTES
- Landon Smith's assist on Priskie's goal was his 100th career point, making him the 39th player in Quinnipiac history and the 25th at the NCAA Division I level to reach the mark. The last player to reach the 100-point mark was Travis St. Denis in 2015-16.
- Smith also picked up his 62nd career assist, good for 21st at the Division I level and 31st all-time.
- Tufto's assist gives him a point in all five of Quinnipiac's games this season. His five-game point streak is the longest for a freshman to start his career since Chase Priskie in 2015.
- Bobcats' sophomore goalie Andrew Shortridge (Anchorage, Alaska) stopped 24 of Northeastern's 26 shots-on-goal to improve to 2-0-1 on the season.
