SCORING SUMMARY
- 8:34 2nd (Cornell 1, Quinnipiac 0): On an odd-man rush following the end of a Quinnipiac power play, Cornell's Brendan Smith put the Big Red on the board first when he slid a shot past the right pad of Quinnipiac goalie Andrew Shortridge off a pass from Beau Starrett.
- 12:36 3rd (Cornell 2, Quinnipiac 0): On the power play, Cornell's Alec McCrea's shot from the blue line ricocheted off Morgan Barron and was sent air born, fluttering over the head of screened-out Shortridge and into the net.
- 14:24 3rd (Cornell 2, Quinnipiac 1): Luke Shiplo started the play when he tipped the puck back into the Big Red's defensive zone where Scott Davidson picked up the loose puck behind Cornell's goal. Davidson stepped out from behind the goal and pushed the puck across the crease to Matt Forchuk who roofed a shot, bar-down, on Cornell goalie Matthew Galajda to cut the Big Red's lead in half.
