Quinnipiac field hockey will face Fairfield for the Bobcats final game of the 2015 regular-season on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 12 p.m. Quinnipiac enters the game at 7-10 overall including a 4-1 mark in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play while Fairfield is 6-8 overall and 2-2 in the MAAC heading into the weekend.
The 2015 MAAC Tournament
Quinnipiac and Monmouth are the only two squads in the seven-team MAAC field to clinch postseason berths in the four-team tournament, with Rider, Fairfield and Siena fighting over the final two spots in the tournament. Rider and Siena face each other on Sunday with potential postseason implications, while Siena sees Monmouth on Friday and Rider travels to Bryant. Fairfield will face Sacred Heart on Friday afternoon.

Quinnipiac will look to rebound from a 3-1 loss to Monmouth last Sunday when it hosts Fairfield on Sunday, Nov. 1. In the Bobcats' loss, Felicia Costanzo accounted for the Bobcats' lone goal.

- Ann Burgoyne leads Fairfield in goals (14) and points (29). Burgoyne leads the MAAC, while also ranking fourth in NCAA field hockey in goals per game (1.00). She also ranks first in the conference and seventh nationally in points per game (2.07).
- Ruth Smalbraak checks in with five goals and a team-leading four assists for 14 points while Erin Buckley in the Stags third double-digit scorer with two goals and two assists for 10 points.
- In goal, Caitlin Bennett is 5-8 with a .660 save percentage and a 2.98 goals-against average.
Meghan McCullough
- Senior Megan McCullough (Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania) currently leads the Bobcats with 10 assists while she is also tied for the team lead with 16 points.
- McCullough also leads the MAAC with 0.67 assists-per-game and ranks eighth with 1.07 points per games; she is currently one of 45 NCAA Division I field hockey student-athletes average .50 or more assists per game.
- McCullough saw a four-game point streak, in which she totaled a goal and seven assists with three two-assist games, end against Rider on Oct. 23.
- McCullough was chosen to the All-MAAC Preseason Team before the start of the season.
- Redshirt senior Savanna Reilly (Hamden, Connecticut) leads the Bobcats with a team-high seven goals while also matching McCullough's team-best 16 points to date.
- Reilly had a game to remember in the Bobcats' 3-2 overtime win against Rider on Oct. 23 scoring twice and assisting on the Bobcats' game-winner in OT. With Quinnipiac trailing, 2-0, Reilly scored twice in the final 4:55 of play before setting up Dayna Barlow just 47-seconds into overtime.
- Felicia Costanzo (Lakeland, New York)( has been on a tear as of late, and now ranks among the team leaders in goals (6) and points (13).
- Costanzo had just one goal and an assist through her first 11 games after playing Penn State on Oct. 2. Since then, Costanzo has scored five times over the last six games with a two-goal performance against Siena in a 4-2 win at home.
- Quinnipiac sophomore Dayna Barlow (Port Elizabeth, South Africa) has also seen a second-half resurgence, scoring three times while assisting on four more goals for 10 points in her last seven games.
- Barlow scored Quinnipiac's only goal in a loss at Penn State before following with a two-assist showing in a 4-0 win at home against Bryant.
- Barlow scored in back-to-back games against Siena on Oct. 18 and the game-winner at Rider on Oct. 23.
- Senior goalkeeper Megan Conaboy (Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania) was selected to play in the prestigious 2015 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game on Saturday, Nov. 21 at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
- Conaboy is the only student-athlete from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference selected to participate.
- Conaboy is 7-8 with a .684 save percentage and a 2.78 goals-against average. She currently ranks 17th nationally in saves per game (5.88) while also ranking in the top 50 in save percentage.
- In five MAAC games to date, she is 4-1 with a 1.76 GAA and a .690 save percentage.
- Additionally, she owns one of two shutouts in conference play, as she stopped all seven shots on goal in a 4-0 win against Bryant on Oct. 9.
- Conaboy is a two-time Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, winning the award in 2013 and 2014. She was also an all-MAAC Second Team pick in 2013 and 2014 and a 2014 NFHCA All-Mideast Region First Team selection.
- For her career, Conaboy is one of three goalkeepers in Quinnipiac's history to reach 30 wins, joining all-time leader Sarah Mathers '02 (37) and Erin McKay '06 (34) with 31 to date. Her 11 career shutouts rank third all-time.
- Angie King currently leads NCAA Division I field hockey with 12 defensive saves to date.
- King's 12 defensive saves are more than all but two other NCAA Division I teams (Towson, 14; Indiana, 13); Quinnipiac leads the nation with 20.
