The Quinnipiac University field hockey team will resume Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play this weekend when the Bobcats (5-9, 3-0 MAAC) travel to Lawrenceville, New Jersey on Friday, Oct. 23 to take on Rider University (9-5, 1-1 MAAC) at 4:30 p.m. before heading to West Long Branch, New Jersey on Sunday, Oct. 25 to face Monmouth University (5-9, 2-0 MAAC).

Big Weekend For The Bobcats
- Quinnipiac improved to 3-0 in the MAAC after defeating Sacred Heart in overtime, 3-2, on Friday, Oct. 16 before downing Siena, 4-2, on Sunday, Oct. 17.
- Entering this weekend, Quinnipiac (3-0) and Monmouth (2-0) are the only two teams in the six-team MAAC without a conference loss to date. Monmouth faces Sacred Heart at home on Friday.
- Quinnipiac is 3-0 in conference play for the first since the 2005 season.
- Quinnipiac and Rider have faced each other 29 times with the Broncs holding an 18-11 advantage in the all-time series.
- Quinnipiac opened the all-time series with a loss in Lawrenceville in 1997 and then went on to win eight of the next 12 meetings between the two teams. Since then, Rider is 12-3 in their last 15 meetings.
- Seven of their 28 games have gone to overtime, with Quinnipiac winning two.
- In New Jersey, Quinnipiac is 3-12 all-time at Rider.
- Rider won last year's match-up, on a goal by Melyssa Alonso in overtime.

- The Hawks spelled a four-game losing streak with back-to-back wins against Fairfield – 2-1 on Oct. 10 – and Rider – 4-3 on Oct. 18.

- Angie King currently leads NCAA Division I field hockey with 12 defensive saves to date.
- King's 12 defensive saves are more than all but two other NCAA Division I teams (Towson, 14; Indiana, 13); Quinnipiac leads the nation with 20.
- King has scored a career-best four goals this season – good for second in the Bobcats' line-up. Her nine points rank fifth at Quinnipiac.
- In a 2-0 week, Meghan McCullough posted back-to-back two-assist outings in wins against Sacred Heart and Siena.
- In her last four games, McCullough has piled-on a goal and seven assists in leading the Bobcats to a 3-1 mark.
- For the year, McCullough leads Quinnipiac in assists (10) and points (16), while her assist total is also a conference-best.
- With a two-goal performance against Siena, Felicia Costanzo rocketed to the top of the Bobcats scoring chart and is now tied with Savanna Reilly with a team-leading five goals to date.
- Costanzo scored the Bobcats first goal of the season in a 2-1 loss at UMass Lowell on Aug. 28 and then went scoreless over her next 10 games through Oct. 2; In her last four games, she has scored four times.
- Savanna Reilly enters the weekend with a team-high five goals to date.
- Reilly scored her first goal of the year in a 2-1 win at home against Yale before scoring in back-to-back games against Holy Cross and Hofstra.
- Reilly has scored twice in the last three games – a 3-2 loss to Providence and a 4-2 win against Siena.
- Lily Shemo heads into Friday night's game against Rider with three goals and three assists to date.
- Shemo went scoreless through the first seven games of the season but has totaled three goals and three assists in the Bobcats' last seven games.
- Shemo's scored twice in the Bobcats' come-from-behind win against Sacred Heart including the game-winner in overtime.
- Lauren Belskie currently ranks fifth nationally five defensive saves.
- Belskie has also scored a career-high three goals this year, including a two-goal game in a 4-3 victory against Vermont.
- Dayna Barlow checks-in with two goals and three assists for seven points to date.
- Barlow has come on with force lately, shrugging off a season-opening 10-game scoreless streak and has now registered a point in four of the Bobcats' last five games.
