Before Quinnipiac:
- Will become the first Bobcat from Spain to ever lace it up in the 20-year history of Quinnipiac field hockey
- A natural defender, Cirera Gutierrez brings a wealth of international experience highlighted by her stint as a starter on Spain’s Under-16 National Team in 2009-11 and the National Under-18 Team in 2011-13
- As a member of the National Team, she led Spain to a runner-up finish in the 2010 National Championship
- In the 2010-11 season, Cirera Gutierrez guided the National U16 Team to the Spanish National Championship and the Catalonia State Championship
- Having advanced to the National U18 Team in 2011-12, she once again helped lead her team to the Spanish National Championship and Catalonia State Championship
- In her final season as a member of the National U18 squad in 2012-13, her team finished as the Spanish National Championship runner-up and the runner-up in the Catalonia State Championship
- In addition to her time playing for Spain’s National Teams, she also competed in the Spanish Honor Division
