The Quinnipiac University field hockey will host Providence College on Sunday, Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. at the QU Field Hockey Turf Complex in Hamden, Conn.

Play4TheCure
- Quinnipiac Field Hockey will host its Play4TheCure game to benefit breast cancer research for the eighth consecutive year.

- Quinnipiac Field Hockey will host a "chance auction" as one of its fundraisers. The Bobcats will also sell hats and t-shirts, with 100% of the profit from the sales going towards Play4TheCure.
All-Time Against Providence
- Last year's meeting marked the first competition between Quinnipiac and Providence.
- Providence defeated Quinnipiac, 5-1, in Providence, Rhode Island.
- Meghan McCullough scored on a penalty stroke to give Quinnipiac a 1-0 lead before the Friars rattled off five unanswered goals, including a pair from Megan Hamilton.
Scouting The Providence Friars
- Providence enters the weekend with a record of 2-11 after a 3-1 loss to Villanova on Friday. The Friars picked up their second win of the year with a 4-1 win against Georgetown in BIG EAST play before falling to Dartmouth, 5-2.
- Adrienne Houle leads Providence in goals (4) and points (9).
- Emma Mackie has dished out a team-leading five assists to date.
- Deidre Clymer has seen a majority of the minutes in the cage for Providence and holds a 1-6 record with a .565 save percentage and a 2.68 GAA.
The Bobcats' Last Time Out
- Quinnipiac opened MAAC play with a 4-0 win against Bryant on Friday, Oct. 9.
- Quinnipiac featured four different goal scorers as Meghan McCullough, Lily Shemo, Felicia Costanzo and Angie King all scored for the Bobcats.
- McCullough also had two assists in the Bobcats' win.
- Shemo's goal was the first of the season.
- Costanzo's goal was her second of the year and first since the Bobcats' season-opener.
- King's goal gave her three for the year, putting her in a tie with Meghan McCullough, Savanna Reilly and Lauren Belskie for the team lead.
- Megan Conaboy had eight saves in goal for her seventh career shutout.
