Colorado Springs, Colorado – Quinnipiac Women's Ice Hockey senior forward Shiann Darkangelo (Brighton, Michigan) has been named to the USA Women's Ice Hockey Four Nations Cup roster, as announced by USA Hockey.
"We are so proud of Shiann. She has worked diligently on her game since her arrival last summer," Head Coach Rick Seeley said. "She has always had the tools but I'm sure it has been her commitment to the details that has made the difference with the US National Team. Shiann was clear that this was her goal when she transferred here. It is so satisfying to watch a player set a goal, work to achieve it and then have it happen. As I said, we feel immense pride right now, and we'll do everything to support her."
Darkangelo trained with the USA Women's Ice Hockey team in Biddeford, Maine from Sept. 12-15 to compete for a spot on the roster for the Four Nations Cup.
