Mount
Quinnipiac will
travel to Emmitsburg, Md. to face Mount St. Mary's in a four-game
Northeast Conference series at the E.T. Straw Family Stadium. The
Bobcats and the Mount will play a pair of doubleheaders on Friday,
March 25 and Saturday, March 26. Friday's contests will begin at
1:00 p.m., while Saturday's doubleheader will start at noon.

All-Time Against Mount St. Mary's
Quinnipiac is 20-18 all-time against Mount St. Mary's, including an
8-10 record at the Mount's home ballpark. The Bobcats won 17 of the

Michael Foster (.377) and Tommy Flynn (.373) hold down the No. 9
and 10 spots, respectively. Flynn is also tied for the NEC lead
with seven stolen bases. Pitchers Max Brittenham and Vincent
Molesky also fall into the top 10 in earned-run average as
Brittenham is fifth with a 2.77 ERA and Molesky is 10th at
3.80.
Historical Start
Quinnipiac, at 7-6 overall, are off their best start in the
program's Division I history while their 3-1 NEC mark is their best
start to conference play since the 2006 season. The Bobcats best
NEC schedule start all-time was in 2004 when they won their first
six conference games before finishing the NEC slate at 16-4.
In First
Place
After losing their NEC opener on Friday, March 18 to Fairleigh
Dickinson, Quinnipiac rattled off a league-best three straight wins
and currently sit in a three-way first-place tie with Central
Connecticut State and Monmouth at 3-1.

Sunday's series finale, in which Quinnipiac trailed 6-0 after the
second inning, marked the first time in four games in which its
opponent scored first that Quinnipiac won the game, and also the
first time Quinnipiac trailed after the sixth inning and won

Ben Farina (Waterford, Conn.) continues his trek to become the
seventh player in Quinnipiac history to record 200 hits with three
this weekend to push his career total to 198. Farina is currently
second on the team with 17 hits while leading the team with six
stolen bases.

Quinnipiac weekend-starters Anthony Cinelli and Derek Lamaccia
currently sit in first and third place, respectively, in earned-run
average. Cinelli checks in at 0.64 while Lamaccia is at 1.00.
