HAMDEN, Conn. - Quinnipiac University women's ice hockey freshman forward Kelly Babstock (Mississauga, Ontario) was named ECAC Hockey/MLX Skates Rookie of the Week, as announced by ECAC Hockey on Tuesday, Nov. 16.
Babstock had one of the best two-game stretches
in the history of Quinnipiac women's ice hockey, as she recorded
the team's first ever back-to-back hat trick performances on
Friday, Nov. 12 against No. 10 Harvard and Saturday, Nov. 13.
against Dartmouth. No previous skater had registered two hat tricks
in the same season before in Quinnipiac's history.
With the six goals over the weekend, Babstock became the NCAA

total points. She ranks sixth in the country with 1.93 points per
game (first among all freshmen), seventh in goals per game with

freshman record for assists in a season and is just one goal away
from tying the freshman record of 14 goals scored in a season.
