Men's Ice Hockey To Be Featured On 1220 AM WQUN On Thursday Morning

The Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team will be featured on 1220 AM WQUN on Thursday, Jan. 8 at 8:45 a.m. Quinnipiac assistant coach Bill Riga and senior Bryan Leitch sat down with Ray Andrewsen to discuss the Bobcats early season success. Leitch currently leads NCAA Division I college hockey in scoring and was named the Inside College Hockey National Player of the Week, the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week while Quinnipiac was also named the College Hockey News National Team of the Week. Riga also discussed the appearance by pioneer Willie O'Ree, the first African-American to play in the NHL in 1958, who will be at Friday night's game against Rensselaer. ig
