Tom Signore was a vital pitcher in Quinnipiac’s rotation during the early 1980s. Signore was the ace of Head Coach Dan Gooley’s staff throughout his career and shares the school record of 20 victories with his former skipper. He registered a team-leading 8–5 pitching record during Quinnipiac’s glorious run to the 1983 NCAA Division II College World Series. Signore, who played in the Milwaukee Brewers organization as well as in Rotterdam, Netherlands, coached at the collegiate and professional levels, including stints with the Montreal Expos and Florida Marlins.
