Patty Caron was one of Quinnipiac’s most talented pitchers in the school’s softball history. By the end of her junior year, Caron held the career record in wins (32), wins in a season (14) and innings pitched (164), while registering a 0.67 ERA. She led the team as a senior with a 1.86 ERA and pitched a national tournament victory over Ferris State University. Caron also was a co-captain of the team.
