Megan Matthews was the first Quinnipiac women’s lacrosse player chosen for the All-Northeast Conference team, earning the honor in 2002 and again in 2003. In 2002, she led the nation in save percentage, winning an NCAA Division I statistical championship. She finished her career as the all-time leader in wins (28), save percentage (.586) and saves (862). Her total saves also ranks 10th all-time in NCAA Division I history. Her 10.33 goals-against average is also the fourth highest in Quinnipiac women’s lacrosse history.
