A four-year starter for the men’s basketball team, Lester Ayala ranks seventh all-time with 1,687 points, sixth all-time with 815 rebounds and tied for fourth with 112 games played. During his senior campaign in 1991, Ayala was named first team All New England, first team all NE-10, and honorable mention All-American. At the completion of the season, he was selected to participate in the NABC All-Star game.
