Julie Smith ranks among the all-time field hockey leaders in goals (24), assists (14) and points (62). In 2001, she broke the single-season goal mark with 15, and also scored 35 points, which remains as the all-time single-season best. That season she was named to the NEC First Team All-Conference, earned NEC Field Hockey Player of the Year, NFHCA First Team All-American, and NFHCA Division I Senior All-Star. She led the Northeast Conference in goals and points while ranking among the national leaders in both categories. She was Quinnipiac Female Athlete of the Year in 2002.
