Jim Potter was a three-year member of the men’s basketball team in the early 1960s. As a sophomore in 1961–62, Potter averaged 6.4 points per game, while the team went 16.6. The following season, Potter averaged 7.5 points per game as the team went 17–11. As a senior in 1963–64, Potter scored 319 points, averaging 11.4 per contest while the team went 20–8. Over his three-year career at Quinnipiac, Potter averaged 8.2 points per game, while the team went 53–25 (.679).
