Frank “Porky” Vieira is Quinnipiac’s all-time leader in three offensive categories including points with 2,649. In addition to his scoring crown, Vieira also holds career records for fi eld goals with 904 and free throws with 841. In 1956–57, Vieira set singleseason records for points (848), free throws (298) and freethrow attempts (380) and in 1953–54 set records for points per game (35.9) and fi eld goals (307). Vieira, who owns eight of the top 10 scoring efforts in Quinnipiac basketball history, holds single-game records of 68 points and 25 fi eld goals set vs. Brooklyn Poly and 21 free throws set vs. Southern Connecticut during the 1956–57 season.
