Known as the “Voice of the Bobcats,” Bill Schweizer has been the play-by-play announcer for the Quinnipiac ice hockey and basketball teams on AM 1220 WQUN for 19 years. He also co-hosts the Quinnipiacproduced, Emmy-nominated “Bobcats Unleashed in HD.” The 44-year broadcasting veteran has held numerous anchor and reporter jobs in several sports and high-profile events. He has worked on seven Olympics broadcasts and served as a radio play-by-play announcer for NFL Sunday Night Games, and baseball’s MLB Game of the Week.
