A four-year member of Quinnipiac’s basketball team, Art Leary was named an Outstanding College Athlete of America in 1970. A member of Quinnipiac’s 1,000-point club, Leary is tied for 16th all-time with 1,159 points. Named team captain in 1970, Leary was also the team’s Most Valuable Player that season. In 1967, Leary was named Quinnipiac’s Most Improved Player.
