Led by head coach Ron Hanson, the 1983–84 women’s basketball team finished the year at 28–3, winning the New England Collegiate Conference Championship. That season, Quinnipiac also won the New England Regional, advancing to the NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Tournament for the first time in Quinnipiac history.
