In the two seasons that Fabian has worked with the women’s soccer team, they have gone 27-9-2 (23-3-1 MAAC). Fabian helped the Bobcats advance to the post-season MAAC championship in 2023 and 2024, win the regular-season MAAC championship in 2023 (runner-up in 2024), win the post-season MAAC championship in 2023, and advance to the NCAA tournament in 2023.
Prior to joining the QU women’s soccer team, Fabian worked as an assistant coach for the QU men’s team from 2022 to 2023. During that year, Fabian helped the Bobcats to win both the regular-season MAAC championship and post-season MAAC championship (second-ever in program history), as they defeated Iona on November 13th, 2022. The Bobcats finished that season with a record of 13-5-3 (8-2-2 MAAC), tying the most season wins in program history. The Bobcats dropped a tight match, 3-2, in double overtime at No. 8 Vermont in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. That season, the Bobcats were ranked #1 in the nation for total points, goals, and assists (regular season).
Before making his way to Quinnipiac, Fabian spent his time pursuing advanced degrees in the fields of counseling and sport psychology. He graduated from Providence College in 2015 with his Master of Education degree in counseling. He then earned his Doctor of Psychology degree in Counseling Psychology, with a concentration in Athletic Counseling, from Springfield College in 2020. While pursuing his master’s degree, Fabian volunteered his time to help the Providence College Women's Soccer coaching staff. He also stood in as a temporary coach for the women’s soccer team for a portion of the spring 2014 season.
Fabian spent his undergraduate years at Providence College as a member of the men’s soccer program. As a member of the Friars, he played in 74 consecutive games over 4 years and started in 52 total games, totaling four goals and seven assists for 15 career points. During his time with Providence, he helped lead the Friars to two Second Round appearances in the NCAA Championship (2010, 2011) and achieved NCAA Division I RPI national rankings of #19 (2010) and #26 (2011). In 2010, the Friars lost the Big East Championship in penalty kicks to #1 nationally ranked Louisville. At Providence, some of Fabian's accomplishments include:
