- Attended Lindenhurst High School in New York
- Member of the varsity team during sophomore, junior and senior years
- Named to the Suffolk County All-County and Academic All-County teams in 2014 as a senior
- Also as a senior was named to the Suffolk County League 2 All-Conference team
- Participated in the 2014 AFP Nassau vs. Suffolk All-Star Senior Game as a member of the Suffolk Red team
- In 2014, Chris finished fifth in saves among all goalkeepers on Long Island with 139
- Dattalo recorded double digit saves in seven out of 16 games, including a season-high 16 against Central Islip
- Recorded a shutout and 14 saves against Northport on Sept. 29, 2014
